At Vespera Sleep we believe world class sleep wellness should be accessible to everyone globally with no operational friction and no hidden costs. We operate on a strict Zero Hidden Fees Guarantee for all cross border transactions.This policy sets out our international trade compliance standards, our duty pre-payment guarantees and our tax arrangements for our international customer base.

The Vespera DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Guarantee

What DDP means for you

The total price you see at checkout will include all product costs, international door to door transport and all applicable import duties, tariffs, customs clearance fees and regional sales taxes.

No unexpected charges at delivery

You will never be asked by a courier, by your local post or by the government customs authority to pay any additional import fees, any clearance administration surcharge or Cash On Delivery (COD) duties when the goods arrive in your country of destination.

Guaranteed Landed Cost

The amount you pay at checkout is 100% final. If a courier or local post agent end up asking for an extra payment to release your parcel then please get in touch with our support team straight away at orders@vesperasleep.com so we can deal with the carrier's error.

International Tax & Regulatory Compliance

We manage global tax collection and customs declarations in accordance with regional cross-border commerce regulations:

US: Orders shipped to US addresses are in compliance with individual state sales tax regulations where applicable and enter duty free under the relevant de minimis customs thresholds.
EU: All consignments going to EU countries are subject to EU VAT. The relevant VAT is calculated and paid at the time of customs clearance and so there are no hold ups at the European port terminals.
UK: Orders shipped to the UK have UK VAT pre-calculated at checkout and are cleared via HMRC prior to the final postal handoff.
Australia & New Zealand: Shipments to Australia and New Zealand are fully compliant with the local GST requirements.
Rest of World: For all other international destinations import duties and local consumption taxes are calculated via our automated global logistics engine and paid in full upfront prior to dispatch.

Incorrect Address & Re-Routing Surcharges

Vespera Sleep will cover all standard import duties and carrier clearance fees. The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

If a package is unable to be cleared or delivered due to an incorrect address, a recipient name error or refusal to accept delivery it may be subject to destruction or return by the local customs authorities.
Where a package is required to be reshipped as a result of an incorrect customer address entry, a standard reshipping and administrative clearance fee will be applied to produce the new customs documentation and transport labels.
